New centre manager at Manchester Fort Shopping Park

David Wait joins the 320,500 sq ft scheme with over 15 years experience, having previously worked at Springfields Outlet Shopping and Festival Gardens in Lincolnshire.

Wait will be working for managing agents Workman Retail at the shopping park owned by Henderson Global Investors

“I am really excited about the prospect of taking Manchester Fort forward and ensuring that the consumer is fully aware of the retail offer at Manchester Fort, thereby encouraging more retail operators to join us,” said Wait. “Already this month with have two catering outlets, Nandos and Jaldi Jaldi, about to open, which in this current retail climate is something of an achievement.”

The scheme has over 33 stores, including Next, TXMaxx, Asda Living, Peacocks and Boots, plus a 1,300 space car park.
