Sarah-Jane Curtis replaces Chris Taite as fund manager of the Grosvenor Liverpool Fund
Grosvenor has appointed Sarah-Jane Curtis as fund manager of the Grosvenor Liverpool Fund. She succeeds Chris Taite, who moves to the new post of group investment director.
Sarah-Jane Curtis has spent 24 years with Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, in both the London and UK shopping centre markets, most recently as retail investment director on Grosvenor’s London estate, where her role included masterminding the transformation of Mount Street, Mayfair, into a world-class retailing destination.
As fund manager of the Grosvenor Liverpool Fund, one of 14 funds managed by Grosvenor Fund Management, she will have responsibility for the Fund’s strategy and performance.
Chris Taite has been running the Grosvenor Liverpool Fund since 2005. In this time he has overseen Liverpool One’s successful transition from being the UK’s largest city centre development site, to what is now a thriving investment. In his new role in the Grosvenor Holding Company he will be responsible for overseeing Grosvenor’s indirect property investments.
Mervyn Howard, Grosvenor Fund Management’s UK director, said: “Two years on from the opening of Liverpool One, the Grosvenor Liverpool Fund is performing very well, thanks to the work done by Chris Taite and his team. We now move into the next phase of driving the performance of the fund and the asset – and in Sarah-Jane we have a retail and urban mixed-use specialist who is ideally suited to the task.”
