Digital media company Ram Vision, which sells advertising space across 45 UK shopping centres including Metrocentre, Lakeside and Bullring, is working with Free Ray UK to offer 3D screens without the need for glasses.
“3D is just about everywhere at the moment,” said Tan Choudhry, head of UK and Europe at Free Ray. “This is not just a screen, there’s much more to it.”
Free Ray have already installed 3D screens in several airports including Dubai and Cairo and together with Ram Vision they are negotiating a pilot site in a premier UK shopping centre.
Ram Vision managing director, David Da Costa said: “These screens are so unique, so new and we’re ready to roll them out.
“Too many companies have made promises about 3D and haven’t followed them through, we’ve still got bridges to cross but we’ve put the motions in place.”
Ram Vision are responsible for 500 screens reaching 700 million people each year in terms of footfall. They have worked with Land Securities, Hammerson and CSC.
