Three new stores open at The Light

The Music Room, Salts Delicatessen and now Dolls Boutique are the latest signings at The Light retail and leisure scheme in Leeds
Salts Delicatessen has taken the former Juice unit opposite the Radisson Blu and it will be the deli’s second store in Leeds. The unit occupies 230 sq ft of ground floor sales space.
The Music Room has taken a one-year lease of a 1,259-sq ft ground floor retail unit on the Headrow level (previously let to Exit) for its 20th store to open in the UK.
Dolls Boutique has opened its flagship store in Leeds leasing a 947-sq ft unit on the Arcade level of the mall.
All three units were leased by letting agent, Pudney Shuttleworth on behalf of Aegon UK.
Despite the current economic climate The Light has now welcomed a total of seven new stores to the centre this year including; Valley of the Dolls, Barburrito, Red Hot World Buffet and Appy Feet. Footfall at the centre is also up by 7 per cent against 2009 and tenants are reporting that they are exceeding sales targets set for the year.
