The Mall Uxbridge secures six new lettings

Published:  27 October, 2010

The 365,000 sq ft Mall - managed by Capital & Regional - is anchored by M&S, Tesco and TK Maxx and will see the arrival of six community-orientated stores.

A standalone M&S café has opened opposite its existing 61,360 sq ft store and British bookshops and stationers The Works, London-based bakery Wenzels, hairdresser Salon Express and local jeweller Grants have also taken units. All but two of the new lettings have been agreed on ten year leases.

Andrew Haughey, retail asset manager at Capital & Regional, said: “In what has been a challenging lettings market, we have achieved half a dozen new deals, which is a great result both for The Mall and for Uxbridge as a key community retail destination for West London. We are pleased that, in response to their trading success at The Mall, Marks & Spencer has decided to expand its offer with a standalone M&S café that will complement the scheme’s existing line-up and further develop its community offer.”

Jackson Criss were the letting agents.
