Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) has welcomed US electronics retailer Best Buy and Pets at Home to Enfield Retail Park.

Best Buy is taking 33,705 sq ft on a ten year lease, while the Pets at Home store will total 9,530 sq ft on a 15 year lease. The new stores will be open in Spring and Summer next year. Both stores will be occupying a unit previously let to Homebase, which has been refurbished and extended to attract new retailers.

Fergus Egan, USS retail fund manager, said: “Best Buy and Pets at Home are strong additions to the already thriving retail environment at Enfield and present a good expansion of the existing retail offer. These new stores mean that Enfield Retail Park can now cater for a wider range of retail needs.”

Enfield Retail Park totals approximately 150,918 sq ft, comprising seven retail units and one stand alone restaurant. The scheme is fully let to retailers including JJB Sports, Comet and Halfords.
