Two new appointments at Reed MIDEM

Christophe Chupot has been named director of the real estate division at Reed MIDEM.  He will oversee the company's real estate business which includes the MIPIM, MAPIC, MIPIM Asia and Global City exhibitions and conferences.

Chupot has been finance director of Reed MIDEM since he joined the company in 2002. Chupot, who is French, held prior finance posts at Valeo and Renault in France, Italy and Argentina.

Reed MIDEM chief executive, Paul Zilk, said: “Christophe’s knowledge of our portfolio and his international management experience equip him well to lead the global development of our real estate business.”

In another move, Filippo Rean has been appointed director of MIPIM and MIPIM Asia.

Rean, who is Italian, joins Reed MIDEM from GE Capital Real Estate in Paris where he worked for five years in investment strategy management and directed product development for Europe. He has previously worked at Bain & Company and Procter & Gamble.

Paul Zilk, said: “Filippo brings a strong understanding of the global real estate industry plus solid strategic, marketing and management skills to his mission to develop MIPIM and MIPIM Asia and to help extend Reed MIDEM’s reach in the real estate business in Europe, Asia Pacific and beyond.”
