New Look signs in Farnborough

St Modwen has signed New Look to anchor its redevelopment of Farnborough town centre

The fashion retailer is taking 15,800 sq ft in the latest phase of the scheme and is scheduled to open in time for Christmas trading in December this year. The first phase of development was completed at Farnborough at the end of 2009 and St. Modwen is currently reviewing options for moving to the next phase, subject to continued tenant interest.

"This is a great result for Farnborough and shows that the redevelopment of the town centre continues despite the tough economic climate," says James Stockdale, development manager at St  Modwen.

“New Look becomes the latest big name to sign for the scheme after Sainsbury's and Travelodge and its decision is sure to attract other retailers to taking space. We are currently in discussions with a number of interested retailers for the units immediately adjacent to New Look.”
