Three new lettings at Connaught Village

Patey Hats, De Roemer and restaurant Casa Malevo will begin trading at Hyde Park’s exclusive retail quarter Connaught Village this month.
Bespoke hat maker Patey Hats opened a 790 sq ft unit spread over two floors at 35 Connaught Street on October 2 at £30,000 pa on a 10-year lease.
Luxury fashion brand De Roemer which designs and produces cashmere, handbags, accessories and jewellery will open at 14 Porchester Place, having taken a 867 sq ft unit spread over two floors at £28,000 pa on a seven-year lease.
Nick Fowles of the Church Commissioners, said: “We are delighted to welcome both Patey Hats and De Roemer to Connaught Village. The new lettings complement the independent, high-end nature of the Village’s current retailers, whilst bringing their own unique styles and brands to Hyde Park’s exclusive shopping location.”
Renowned chef Diego Jacquet and restaurateur Alberto Abbate are to open a new 1,360 sq ft Argentine concept restaurant Casa Malevo at 23 Connaught Street on October 22.

Casa Malevo’s strong focus on quality reflects our overall letting strategy for the Village and will complement the existing mix of independent boutiques, cafés and restaurants.”
Connaught Village is home to a host of independent retailers such as CocoMaya chocolatier and artisan bakery, fashion boutiques Weardowney’s Establishment and Viola London, and luxury handbag designer Susannah Hunter
All three lettings were secured through Briant Champion Long, acting on behalf of the Church Commissioners.
