Realm signs Nike at Talke

Outlet manager Realm has signed Nike to anchor Freeport Talke, its shopping centre near Stoke on Trent.

The New Nike unit will anchor a remodeling of the former supermarket at the centre and the letting comes on the back of recent openings of Marks & Spencer and Gap.

Freeport Talke currently trades from 140,000 sq ft and the former supermarket space of 31,000 sq ft is to be remodeled to create the Nike unit along with five new additional retail units. The project is due to commence early October and the new Nike unit will be open in early 2011.

Realm's development director Dan Mason said: “This is another great letting for Freeport Talke. It enables us to remodel the former supermarket and undertake further physical and branding improvements to maximise the appeal of the centre to the excellent catchment and customer base.”
