Eastgate shopping centre in Inverness will soon have a ‘model’ manager when Jackie Cuddy swaps the centre for the catwalk in aid of Breast Cancer Care.

Eastgate’s centre manager, Jackie Cuddy, has been chosen along with 19 others to model in this year’s Breast Cancer Care Fashion Show in Glasgow which hopes to raise £150,000 for the charity.

Jackie and the other models have all been diagnosed with breast cancer and will show that women can still look and feel amazing after a diagnosis.

Jackie Cuddy, said: “I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006 after a routine annual company health check. Hearing the words cancer was a shock and I buried myself in my work, providing the right distraction.

“Breast Cancer Care provides a vital service to anyone affected and I’m honoured to be asked to play my part in raising awareness. Stepping onto the catwalk in front of family and friends will be a chance to say I’m living life to the full and enjoying every minute of it.”
