CBRE forms new retail management team

CB Richard Ellis has recruited Matthew Howard, head of asset management at UBS, to head its newly-formed retail asset management team

Ciaran Bird, CBRE’s head of UK retail, said: “The creation of this team reflects our commitment to grow and diversify our business, ensuring CBRE is in the best possible position to support client needs in a constantly changing retail market.

The appointment follows a series of key recruitment announcements in the UK Retail team in the last six months, including: Jonathan De Mello, head of retail consultancy; Rhodri Davies and Peter Arduino, senior directors in retail capital markets; Jane Wynne, senior director in retail property management and Mark Simms, associate director in shopping centre leasing.
