H & M to open in The Mall Blackburn

H & M has agreed terms on a new 19,000-sq ft store in Lord's Square, The Mall, Blackburn.

H & M has agreed to take a new ten-year lease on the store which will trade from a 7,957-sq ft ground floor, an 11,011-sq ft first floor and 608 sq ft of plant space.

The new store forms part of a £66m redevelopment of The Mall, Blackburn, which provides over 20 new stores and opened at the end of July. Other new retailers attracted to the scheme include Primark, Peacocks, Bank, Topman and JD Sports, with WH Smith, New Look and Next all relocating into much bigger units.

Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP advised H & M and Tushingham Moore advised the centre's owners, The Mall Corporation.
