Superdry chooses Chapelfield

Superdry is to open a store at Chapelfield shopping centre in Norwich on 16 September.

Joining Norfolk’s prime retail pitch, Superdry will open a 6,500-sq ft store on Chapelfield Plain, near Crabtree & Evelyn and Office, and close to restaurants Wagamama and Giraffe. The distinctive UK fashion retailer follows in recent footprints of Hollister and Apple, both of which joined the centre this year.

Jonathan Ainsley, Asset Management Director (South) of Capital Shopping Centres said: “We are excited about what this unique brand will bring to our shoppers, The centre has enjoyed excellent continued footfall and trading, and is home to some of the top performing retailer outlets in the country and we are sure that Superdry will experience similar success.”

SuperGroup’s founding partner and CEO, Julian Dunkerton said: “Chapelfield is a major retail centre and we are proud to be opening here. A great deal of work and creativity have gone into the store’s design and fitting out, and we are optimistic that it will open as spectacularly as our others.”

Lunson Mitchenall and Francis Darrah are letting agents for Chapelfield and Jones Lang LaSalle advised the tenant.
