Gap Outlet and Holland & Barrett are the latest signings confirmed for the Lowry Outlet Mall in Salford Quays, Greater Manchester.
Both stores are looking to capitalise on for the imminent arrival of businesses and residents to MediaCityUK, opposite the Lowry Outlet Mall. The signings come on the back of another strong month for the Mall with sales up 2 per cent and footfall up 3 per cent year-on-year.
Centre Manager Rob Hallworth said: “This is all positive news for the Mall ahead of entering the busy Christmas season. Gap Outlet in particular is a destination retailer, appealing to a wide section of people, which we believe will attract shoppers from across the Northwest region.”
Gap Outlet will occupy a 7,960-sq ft ground floor unit adjacent to Cadbury’s Factory Outlet, and opposite the newly re-located Suits You store, which moved to facilitate the Gap Outlet letting.
Other new store signings for 2010 include menswear label Dickies and accessories retailer Bijoux.
