Cushman & Wakefield has recruited Capital & Regional’s national property manager Anne Rush as Partner in its expanding retail asset management team.
Rush’s role will be focused on the strategic development of the firm’s asset management service line across the UK. Previously she worked as national property manager for Capital & Regional, which she joined in 2004.
During the last two years Rush has led the due diligence on a number of major shopping centre sales and has played a key role in the development of The Mall’s green policy. Prior to Capital & Regional, she worked within the fund management team at PruPIM. Rush is an external tutor for the College of Estate Management on the Shopping Centre Diploma course.
Cushman & Wakefield’s retail asset management team has secured eight new mandates in the last year resulting in increased market share, a 20 per cent growth in revenues and an increase in staff numbers. John Prestwich, head of retail asset management UK at Cushman & Wakefield said, “Anne is the ideal candidate to help us enhance our position as a leading supplier of UK retail asset management services. Our expanding team has gone from strength to strength despite challenging economic conditions and I am confident we will continue to increase our market share.”
