Kurt Geiger announces Eldon Square store

Luxury shoe retailer Kurt Geiger has announced plans to open a new store at Eldon Square, Newcastle, in September.
The store is part of Kurt Geiger’s expansion plan to open in prime retail locations across the UK and internationally and follows the recent opening of two flagship stores in London’s Covent Garden and Liverpool.
Martin Breeden,director of asset management, northern portfolio, at Capital Shopping Centres, said: "The continual development and regeneration of Eldon Square has resulted in extremely encouraging interest from retailers, and the addition of brands such as Kurt Geiger reinforces the centre’s position as the prime retail pitch in Newcastle.”
Lunson Mitchenall and Sanderson Weatherall represented Capital Shopping Centres and Harrods Estates represented Kurt Geiger.
Eldon Square is undergoing refurbishment works including new flooring and tiling which is due to be completed before Christmas.
