The Victoria welcomes three new retailers

The Victoria in Southend has announced the opening of three new stores set to begin trading this month.

Boots, Scentsational Perfumes and Laraib Jewellers will all start trading in August, taking 5,500 sq ft, 905 sq ft and 343 sq ft units respectively.

They will trade alongside national retailers such as Next, New Look and Peacocks and independent shops like Mini Ha Ha’s, Buzz Box and Fiori.

Linda Zuber, director of Scentsational Perfumes, said: “This is an exciting time for Scentsational Perfumes as this is our second store in Essex, and The Victoria is ideally suited to us, with a high number of shoppers attracted to the Centre every week.”

These new leases follow the £24m refurbishment of the 335,000-sq ft shopping centre – a joint venture between Delamere and National Grid UK Pension Scheme - which reopened in 2008.
