Curry's vacates Bullring

Curry's has agreed to surrender its lease in the Bullring to make way for the new 50,000-sq ft Forever 21 store

The electricals retailer is moving to a new store in Wellcome Trust's development on the nearby High Street where it is taking 15,000 sq ft of space over three floors at a rental of £450,000 pa

Wellcome Trust began the process of redeveloping this dated 1960s block three years ago, having agreed pre-lettings to Barclays and Orange. The final space at the development,the top floor, is being taken by national gymnasium operator The Gym, which is taking 20,000 sq ft of space at £180,000 pa.

Cushman & Wakefield acted for the Wellcome Trust in securing all of the deals at the development.
