JLL hires new retail researcher

James Brown is to join Jones Lang LaSalle in the autumn as its new head of EMEA retail research and consultancy.
Brown is currently UK director of research at Grosvenor where he has responsibility for all research including property market forecasting, analysis of demand, supply and values, local market and catchment analysis, and retail performance analysis.
And prior to Grosvenor he was head of retail research at DTZ and Donaldsons. Previous positions also include Management Horizons Europe, a specialist retail consultancy where he worked in the shopping centre team advising on shopping centre feasibility and asset management initiatives across Europe.
