Five new names for K Village

Published:  08 July, 2010

Five weeks before opening, five more names have been added to the tenant line up in the new K Village Outlet Shopping Centre in Kendal

Premium women’s brand Alexon; the UK’s largest leatherwear retailer Lakeland Leather; specialist cookware manufacturer ProCook; leading tea, coffee and ceramics brand Whittards of Chelsea and the family restaurant Moe’s Grill have all signed up for the redeveloped outlet mall.

Philip Weir, project director at Kendal Riverside, said: “Despite the current economic climate, we are absolutely delighted with the success of our letting programme which has resulted in over 80 per cent of the centre being let to date. We are very encouraged by the strong confidence shown in the project and are now working hard to bring negotiations to a close on the remaining units which have only just become available to us as the result of a recent planning award.”

The five new tenants join a comprehensive mix of retailers led by anchor store Clarks. Other names include Double Two, Klass, Staccatos, All Wellan Good, The Works, Mountain Warehouse, Bedeck, Cotton Traders, Bags etc, Denby, Holland & Barrett, Cadbury and Costa Coffee.
