Windsor retail warehouse scheme lets up

Conamar has completed construction of a new 10,500-sq ft retail warehouse development in Windsor, Berkshire, on behalf of private developer AA Clark, and two of the three units are already let.

The 10,580-sq ft development replaces a former car showroom, workshop and petrol filling station on the corner of Arthur Road and Alma Road on the main approach into Windsor town centre.

The first unit, which provides a total of 4,215 sq fthas been let to Southern Co-operatives. Unit 2, providing 3,200 sq ft, has been let to Majestic Wine Warehouses. Unit 3, with 3,165 sq ft, is currently under negotiation with prospective tenants.

Neil Dower, managing director of Conamar said:  “This was a great opportunity to improve the appearance of this prominent site by transforming the building into new shops and creating better facilities for the local community.  We have worked closely with nearby residents to keep disruption to a minimum throughout the construction period.”
