Two more sign up to Sunderland

The Land Securities-owned Bridges shopping centre has announced two more additions with Disney and Blue Inc taking stores.

Disney has taken a 3, 284-sq ft unit on Crowtree Mall as has leading fashion brand Blue Inc which has also opened a 3,284-sq ft unit opposite. The new openings follow hot on the heels of the successful launches of Pandora, the UK's leading silver jewellery brand, and leading fashion footwear retailer Schuh earlier in the year.

Toymaster has also extended its lease on its 2,000-sq ft unit on Walworth Way North until January 2011

Jonathan Buckle, Bridges portfolio manager, said: “The arrival of both Disney and Blue Inc is another great addition to our retail profile. We are currently at 97% capacity and with ongoing talks with a number of other interested retailers; we should have further new store openings to announce shortly which is a great indication of what’s still to come in 2010.”

Fawley Watson Booth and Lunson Mitchenall are joint letting agents at the Bridges.
