B&M boosts retail offering at Templars Square

B&M Bargains has taken one of the  largest retail units at Templars Square in Cowley, Oxford.

The deal brings Templars Square shopping centre’s occupancy rate to 96 per cent as the centre continues to attract new tenants despite the difficult economic climate.

B&M, the value-for-money retailer, joins other new comers at Templars Square including 99p Stores, Hype Clothing, Paperbox, Cowley Express, Imy’s Stop n Shop and a larger unit for Shoe Zone. The retail unit, 9-10 The Square, was previously leased by Somerfield which has surrendered its lease.

The landlord of Templars Square is an institutional client of Threadneedle Property Investments.  Hicks Baker and Jones Lang LaSalle represented the landlord.  Burns Property Consultants represented B&M Retail while Rapleys represented Somerfield.
