Triple letting for British Land at Glasgow Fort

British Land has let three stores at its Glasgow Fort Shopping Park to New Look, Poundland and Barrhead Retail.
New Look has taken the 12,847-sq ft unit 27 at a rent of £651,343 pa on a 15-year lease. Poundland has opted for block 3, unit 9, with an area of 7,628 sq ft at an annual rent of £362,330 on a 10-year lease. And the 1,610-sq ft unit B1 has been let to Barrhead Retail at a rent of £107,750 pa on a 10-year lease.
The new tenants will be joining other major retailers at Glasgow Fort such as Zara, Boots, Next, Asda Living and Argos.
Morgan Williams and Montagu Evans represented British Land. Thompson Heaney represented Poundland. Barrhead Retail and New Look were unrepresented.
