John Clare joins Capital & Regional as chairman

Former Dixons chief executive to join Capital & Regional as chairman

John Clare was previously group chief executive of Dixons Group between 1993 and 2007 and a non-executive director of Hammerson between 1988 and 2009. He is currently chairman of JJB Sports and Dreams.

Paul Stobart, Capital & Regional's senior independent director, said: "We are delighted to have been able to attract such an experienced and distinguished business leader to succeed Tom Chandos.
