Fashion retail group Arcadia has taken 20,000 sq ft on a ten-year lease in the new 500,000-sq ft Trinity Walk shopping centre in Wakefield.

Arcadia will bring four of its leading brands - Topshop, Topman, Dorothy Perkins and Burtons - to Trinity Walk, which Sovereign Land, AREA Property Partners and Shepherd Construction are developing and which will open in spring 2011.

This letting adds to a fashion line-up that includes a 96,000-sq ft Debenhams, H&M, New Look, Next, River Island and Peacocks, as well as Carphone Warehouse, Orange and others. The scheme also boasts a 117,000-sq ft Sainsbury’s.

Sovereign Land director Chris Geaves said: “We are thrilled to have Arcadia on board - this is fantastic news for the scheme that already boasts a strong line up of retailers. We are committed to delivering a top class retail offer and have further deals with leading brands in solicitor’s hands, and advanced negotiations in place.”

Letting agents for Trinity Walk are Lunson Mitchenall and Angermann Goddard & Loyd.
