Management vacancies with Workman Retail

Workman Retail is the specialist retail management division of Workman LLP, managing an extensive portfolio of shopping centres and retail parks throughout the UK.

The following Centre Management positions are advertised as part time roles, however consideration may be given to suitable candidates who can appropriately manage a combination of two schemes.  Consideration will therefore be given to both part time and full time applicants.

Manchester Fort Shopping Park, Manchester:  Centre Manager.

Working with the outsourced marketing and operations teams, key requirements will be to build on the MFSP brand and drive visitor numbers.  The ability to work with community organisations, Local Authority and other professionals are key requirements.  At the same time, maintaining operational standards and efficiencies are to be achieved through close tenant liaison, managing the service charge budget and reporting to the client.

Croft Retail & Leisure Park, Bromborough:  Centre Manager.

This park has undergone significant modernisation in recent years, with plans to continue this in the short term.  The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate an ability to work with project management teams, contractors and tenants whilst reporting to the client.  A thorough understanding of health and safety legislation, operations management and tenant liaison are skills which must be demonstrated.

Spring Gardens Shopping Centre, Buxton: Centre Manager

Working with the Assistant Centre Manager and contracted team to ensure compliance with current legislation and deliver performance in accordance with the expectations of the client.  Key requirements for this role are the ability to drive footfall and commercialisation value by identifying opportunities for marketing and income generation, as well as having the necessary personal skills to build relations with key personnel within the Local Authority and local business community.  Key areas of responsibility will also include close tenant liaison, service charge budgeting and reporting.

Candidates for each of the above roles must demonstrate high levels of IT literacy, previous experience of working within a shopping centre or retail environment, as well as a working knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations, marketing and operational procedures.  The BCSC Diploma in Shopping Centre Management is preferred or a willingness to undertake the course.

Prospect Shopping Centre, Hull:  Full Time Operations Manager

Prospect Shopping Centre, Hull requires an outstanding, self motivated individual with proven operational experience.  Reporting to the Centre Manager they will be responsible for the day to day operational matters, including contractor management.  Must be IT literate (Word, Excel), IOSH/ NBOSH qualified and an effective communicator.
