Two top high street brands are to open their latest retail outlets at Cameron Toll, Edinburgh’s first out of town shopping centre. Value fashion retailer Peacocks has taken 6,000 sq ft while Costa, will open in 1,538 sq ft plus mall seating.

This positive news for Cameron Toll, which is just five minutes drive from Edinburgh’s Princes Street, follows a welcome rates review that saw the combined rateable values dropping by almost £3m, an average of 57 per cent for each unit shop.

Campbell Whyte from Whyte DM, development manager for Cameron Toll’s, said: “Combining the news that brands of the calibre of Peacocks and Costa are opening in Cameron Toll with the recent downward rates review is exciting news for any retailer looking for a new or additional presence in Scotland’s capital city.

Eric Young & Co was letting agent for Warren Private Clients. JH Campbell Property Consultants acted for Peacocks and Cushman & Wakefield for Costa.
