New Look chooses Dublin for biggest-ever store

Published:  19 May, 2010

New Look is to make its debut in Dublin city centre with a 40,000-sq ft store in the Jervis Centre. It  will be the largest of its 1,000 stores worldwide.

The New Look flagship store will open in Autumn 2010 and will occupy over 40,000 sq ft at ground and basement levels, previously part of the former Arnotts Project store.

“This deal is the final piece of the incredible anchor store line up assembled in the centre,” said Darragh Cronin of letting agent Savills. “With New Look’s arrival and the recent announcement of US fashion retailer Forever 21, the centre now boasts an unrivalled line up of high quality national and international retailers. This will boost footfall further in the Jervis and Henry Street areas and confirms the resilience of Dublin’s city centre retail market ”

The Jervis Shopping Centre has been trading for 14 years and continues to attract the premier retailers from Ireland, Europe and the US. The centre extends to approximately 380,000 sq ft and boasts in excess of 60 retail units and 750 car parking spaces. Jervis Shopping Centre already houses a number of leading fashion retailers including Stradivarius, Bershka, Dorothy Perkins and Schuh.
