White River Place attracts flurry of lettings

Six months after opening its doors, White River Place can announce that it is adding to its line-up with a 26,000-sq ft TK Maxx store, which is due to open this summer.

The "brands for less" retailer has exchanged on a unit over two floors to create the retailer's second Cornish store.

Since opening in October, the scheme has seen a flurry of new lettings including Game, Superdrug and Rowe Bakery with retailers continuing to report strong sales.

We’re proud that the centre, which was built using award-winning sustainable methods, is proving as much of a hit with retailers as it has with the industry. With further units in solicitor’s hands, White River Place is going from strength to strength.”

The 155,000-sq ft scheme has seen a brand new 40,500 sq ft Wilkinson store arrive in the town, alongside the likes of Peacocks, New Look, Frankie & Bennys, and a new four screen cinema. This month has also seen the launch of the 69 contemporary apartments that from part of the scheme.
