Lettings surge at Cannock

The Cannock Shopping Centre in Staffordshire has seen a string of lettings since GVA Grimley was appointed as LPA receiver and agent for the scheme at the beginning of the year.
A mix of independent and multiple retailers have signed up for units totalling nearly 10,000 sq ft. The new occupiers include rent-to-own retailer Brighthouse, which has combined three units on Market Hall Street to create a larger store; Textiles Direct the national bedding, curtains and household textile retailer; Little Italy menswear; Kiss & Make-Up cosmetics and barber’s Hair Edz.
Roger Philips one of the Joint LPA Receivers said: “We took a pragmatic approach and decided it was most important to get tenants back into the centre and for businesses to be trading so we offered flexible lease terms. The success of the shopping centre is vital to the wider regeneration strategy for town”
