Savills hires seven from DTZ

Savills has recruited seven shopping centre management specialists from DTZ following a string of new instructions.

With over 37 years experience collectively in the shopping centre management sector, Graeme Clark, Andrea Spencer and David Fox all join as directors and will be based in Savills’ Glasgow, West End and Birmingham offices respectively.

Associate director Laura-Jane Heron and surveyors Anita Campbell, Teresa Stewart and Anna O’Donnell will all also be based at the firm’s Glasgow office. The seven new starters were formerly at DTZ.

Nicholas Herward, national head of property management at Savills, said: “Our existing national management team has built up a solid and established reputation within the property industry and, with a wealth of experience and local market knowledge, these new appointments will further augment this.

RREEF has recently appointed Savills as the managing agent at the 152,000-sq ft Prince Bishops Shopping Centre in Durham.And British Land has given Savills the contract to manage the 118,155-sq ft Hylton Riverside Retail Park in Sunderland.
