Manchester’s Triangle shopping centre boosted footfall to new lofty heights with a unique £30,000 publicity campaign.
The competition, called Pin to your Pad, saw James Gilhooly and Jenny Maloney receive the keys for one year to a luxurious one-bedroom apartment overlooking the city centre and fitted out to an exceptionally high standard. All bills, including utilities, are included in the prize.
Michelle Atack, marketing manager at the Triangle co-ordinated a radio, print and internet campaign encouraging people to visit the centre where they were given a key-ring with a six-digit code. The winning numbers were announced live on air and James and Jenny came into the centre to receive their prize.
