Four months after opening, Phase One of SouthGate Bath is now over 85 per cent let. Apple, O2, Game and Tommy Hilfiger are the latest retail names to sign up and all will have stores open and trading by the end of March.
Additionally, Top Shop has signed for a 16,000-sq ft store in Phase Two of the development that will see retailers opening from the end of May, with the Debenhams anchor store opeing in early September. Phase 2 will include two other large stores where , according to Multi Development, terms are agreed with two international brands.
In addition Phase Two will feature eight other retail stores, restaurants, cafes and a selection of brands and boutiques within the covered Little SouthGate section of the development.
Stuart Harris, UK leasing director at Multi Development, said: “Our strategy has always been based in attracting the best national and international brands and retailers to Southgate which is exemplified by these latest signings. We’re very happy with progress despite the challenging conditions over the last two years.”
The SouthGate Limited Partnership which is responsible for the Southgate development consists of Multi Development and Aviva Investors.
