Carluccio’s has chosen St David’s, Cardiff, as the location for its first restaurant in Wales.

The casual dining format joins other new names that have recently taken stores at St David’s including maternity and baby specialist JoJo Maman Bébé, lingerie shop Leia and the Pen Shop. More than 100 stores and restaurants are now open in St David’s

Joanne Skilton, of Capital Shopping Centres, responsible for leasing the scheme on behalf of the St David’s Partnership, a joint venture between CSC and Land Securities, said: “We are delighted that Carluccio’s has chosen to open with us in Cardiff. The new and exciting mix of retailers and restaurants at St David’s has helped Cardiff become one of the best cities in which to shop in the UK.”

Carluccio’s will join other restaurants including Wagamama and Gourmet Burger Kitchen in the Library block adjacent to John Lewis.
