CSC scoops Solal Awards in Vienna

Capital Shopping Centres scooped three top industry awards at the International Council of Shopping Centres’ Solal Marketing Awards, held in Vienna.

The ICSC Solal Awards recognise best practice and outstanding marketing by shopping centres across Europe. The three awards won by CSC cover a wide spectrum of marketing initiatives. The Chimes in Uxbridge celebrated two awards: The Special Distinction for Innovation Award recognised creativity and fashion knowledge to drive footfall for its retailers, while its Community Relations Award noted the centre’s investment to increase awareness of cultural diversity within Uxbridge and its surrounding area.

Ten of CSC’s centres were also jointly awarded The Community Relations, Joint Centre Campaign, Silver Award for activity during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

The accolades were collected by Michelle Moffitt, marketing manager at The Chimes. Richard Bailey, central marketing manager at CSC said: “It is a great honour to receive these awards from a respected and independent organisation. These accolades recognise our teams’ energy and determination to develop dedicated programmes of activities that create enjoyable experiences for customers visiting all of our centres.”
