Kurt Geiger, Europe’s leading luxury shoe retailer, has selected Multi Development and CommerzReal’s Victoria Square in Belfast for its first standalone store in Ireland. It will open in mid-June 2009.
Kurt Geiger operates in over 100 locations. As well as its own highly successful brands of Kurt Geiger, KG, Carvela and Solea, it is the largest retailer of Gucci and Prada in Europe and has strong relationships with luxury brands including Dolce & Gabbana, Jimmy Choo, Marc Jacobs, Paul Smith, Edward Green, and Christian Louboutin.
Kurt Geiger’s chief executive Neil Clifford said: “We are excited to have secured presence in Belfast’s Victoria Square retail district. By combining our contemporary store design along with our unique product and brand offering, we are optimistic for the success of our first Kurt Geiger boutique in Northern Ireland.”
And Ron de Jager, leasing manager at Multi Development commented: “We are delighted to have secured the first Kurt Geiger stand-alone store In Ireland, a brand with a strong following with concessions in House of Fraser, Brown Thomas and Arnotts.
