Westfield has signed eight new retailers to open at Westfield London. Deichmann, Bebe Bisou, Foot Asylum, Wheels of Sport and Birings will open in the main centre between now and May while three new brands have signed up for The Village luxury shopping district.
The news comes as the centre celebrates its 10 millionth visitor, putting it on target to achieve footfall of 20 million during its first year of business.
Deichmann, Europe’s largest footwear retailer will occupy a 5,108-sq ft store on the first floor near New Look’s flagships store. Children’s brand Bebe Bisou will occupy a 3,031-sq ft store on the ground floor. Foot Asylum, specialising in multi-branded footware and clothing, will take a 2,987-sq ft store on the ground floor close to JD Sports and Desigual. Wheels of Sport, selling F1 merchandise and memorabilia will take a 1,236-sq ft store on the first floor near Foyles. And Birings, the newsagent will take a 338-sq ft first floor store the near The Balcony, Westfield London’s eclectic mix of 13 fresh-food vendors.
At the same time three new leading Italian labels have signed up for space in The Village. Designer footwear boutique Fratelli Rossetti is taking 3,278 sq ft; menswear label Pal Zileri 5,321 sq ft and luxury linens brand Edmond Frette 3,118 sq ft. The 5,200-sq ft Louis Vuitton store is currently fitting out in time for a May opening and Westfield London general manager Paul Buttigieg said: “The luxury area of Westfield London is establishing itself as one of Europe’s premier designer shopping destinations.”
