Bolton Market is in vogue

Bolton’s Market Place Shopping Centre hosted a fashion event just before Christmas to mark the recent opening of the £40m Market Hall development. The evening saw Emmerdale actress Roxanne Pallet hosting a catwalk display, which was the highlight of a two-day festival of fashion, live music and beauty demonstrations.
Bolton Community College also got involved in the celebrations with a catwalk display of their very own fashion designs. Art & design students from the college had
their creations gracing the catwalk in an inspiring display in response to Market Place’s £20 Challenge. Students had to create a fabulous look, linked to Bolton past, present and future, for just £20.
Kevin Leaver, development manager for the developer, Warner Estate, said: “It gave us a chance to collectively celebrate Bolton’s new retail home.”
