On 18th September 2008, Shopping Centre hosted the inaugural All Ireland Retail Property Forum 2008 at the Conrad Hotel in Dublin. Over 100 leading players in the Irish shopping centre industry attended the conference during the day, and in the evening they were joined by a further 50 contemporaries for the first-ever All Ireland Retail Property Awards Gala Dinner.

The 2008 Winners were:

Developer of the Year : Multi Development, Victoria Square, Belfast. Paul Sargent, Managing Director of Multi Development UK was delighted to receive the award

Retailer of the Year (sponsored by Tughans and William Fry): House of Fraser. Tughans partner Phyllis Agnew (left) and Andrew Muckian, head of property at William Fry, presented the award to Eleanor Lennox of House of Fraser.

Managing Agent of the Year (sponsored by Spirit Marketing Group): Savills Hamilton Osborne King. Enda McShane, CEO of the Spirit Marketing Group presented the award to Savills Hamilton Osborne King's Aidan O'Hogan.

Centre Manager of the Year over 300,000 sq ft (sponsored by Photo-Me International) : Denis O'Connell, Liffey Valley

Centre Manager of the Year under 300,000 sq ft: Pat Ryan, Market Cross, Kilkenny

Marketeer of the Year: Jayne O'Keeffe, Dundrum. Graham Harvey, Group Advertisement Manager, Shopping Centre prersented the trophy to Dundrum's Jayne O'Keeffe.

Lifetime Achievement Award: Charlie Costello, Active Facilities & Property Management
