Originally focussing on food store developments Dransfield Properties has continued to work within this specialised industry as well as expanding into non-food retail parks and major town centre extensions.

In 2007, the company won the BCSC Gold Award for Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough – its mixed use town centre scheme which is still managed by Dransfield Properties.

With a strong community ethos, Dransfield Properties is committed to working in partnership with local stakeholders and employing local staff and companies on all developments.

Dransfield Properties are currently developing sites in Openshaw, East Manchester, Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, Penistone, Barnsley and Willenhall in the West Midlands. Work is also underway on the second phase of the successful Sanderson Arcade development in Morpeth, Northumberland which opened in November 2009.

Dransfield Properties is also working in partnership with Gallaghers to develop an ambitious scheme in Stocksbridge, near Sheffield which is due to commence on site in January 2011.

With a strong environmental charter all the waste at Dransfield Properties’ shopping centres is reclaimed and the company attains either a good or excellent BREEAM rating on developments.
