The SCEPTRE Awards 2011 will be held at The Dorchester, London on June 21st 2011. The SCEPTRE Awards, recognising the best practice and the best people in the shopping centre industry, are the pre-eminent accolades in the shopping centre industry. Last year, was the 10th birthday of SCEPTRE and we celebrated in style with the biggest number of entries ever, and the Awards night itself, hosted by the one and only Nicholas Parsons, was sold out a month in advance!
The SCEPTRE Awards put the spotlight on management teams, retailers and suppliers that demonstrate real excellence. In 2011 it is The Dorchester’s superb ballroom which will once again host the Awards, presented in 13 categories. Wooden Spoon, the children's charity of the rugby world, will benefit from the fund raising activities around the programme. Miles Jupp, comedian and actor, will provide your entertainment!
We will be asking our readers in May 2011 to vote online for Retailer of the Year, and the Lifetime Achievement Award winner will be announced at the Awards ceremony. Shopping Centre will be accepting entries from 1st March until 27th April; the 2011 short list will be announced at 4pm on May 11th.
