Coals to Skegness

Published:  04 December, 2008

Steve Andrews, deputy centre manager at the Hildreds shopping centre in Skegness, walked over hot coals measuring up to 860 degrees to raise money for the Butterfly Hospice in Boston, Lincolnshire.

He received a trophy for raising £1,092 and hopes to make about £10,000 when all the money is collected.

"I only got three blisters, or 'fire kisses' as the organiser called them," he said.
