Hundreds of shoppers gathered at Clarence Dock in Leeds on Saturday, October 11, when stylist Gok Wan took to the catwalk and presented a series of fashion shows to mark the launch of the £260m mixed-use regeneration scheme.

The unique 370,000 sq ft leisure, entertainment and shopping destination - 10 minutes walk away from the shopping and business quarters of Leeds and owned by Crosby Lend Lease - features a variety of superior urban brands as well as restaurants, offices, hotel, casino, 1,600-space car park and luxury one- and two-bed apartments.

Gok Wan, famous for his Channel 4 shows How to Look Good Naked and Gok's Fashion Fix, presented four floating fashion shows throughout the day featuring clothes from a range of the centre's tenants such as Replay, All Saints, Joy, G-Star, Rock Couture and Emma.

Gok told Shopping Centre that he thought the new shopping destination was 'amazing'. "I have a complete love affair with Asia and complexes with a live, work, shop environment," he said. "It's very Asian and to bring it to England is stunning."
