The global banking crisis has forced British Land and Land Securities into boardroom reshuffles.
At British Land CEO Stephen Hester is leaving shortly to become chief executive of The Royal Bank Of Scotland after the bank was part-nationalised. Hester was already a non-executive director at RBS.
And Land Securities has lost its chairman after Gordon Brown's cabinet reshuffle, when Paul Myners was appointed Under Secretary of State and Minister for the City in the Treasury. Senior independent director David Rough is leading the search for a successor.
