No matter what the weather this summer, visitors to East Kilbride shopping centre will be able to enjoy all the fun of the seaside at Scotland's first indoor beach.
Complete with over 10 tonnes of golden sand, deck chairs, beach games and even authentic sound effects, EK's beach will be the perfect place for parents with kids to chill out over the summer.
The beach will be in the centre until August 17 with a host of activities including daily workshops featuring sand art, ceramics, T-shirt art and much more. Stores will also be getting in on the act by hosting a range of activities which will include tasters, fashion shows and story-telling sessions.
