Land Securities and Hammerson's Bristol Alliance has secured another 11 retailers at Cabot Circus, the one million sq ft retail and leisure destination set to open in Bristol in September 2008.
Latest signings include urban fashion brands American Apparel in 4,700 sq ft, Bank in 5,200 sq ft, Bench in 2,900 sq ft, Cult in 10,800 sq ft and Henleys in 3,300 sq ft. All are new to Bristol and will trade in The Circus element of the scheme.
Ollie & Nic, the handbag and leather fashion accessories retailer, has also signed for 900 sq ft as have fashion jewellers Swarovski in 2,300 sq ft and Thomas Sabo in 550 sq ft.
Greetings card retailer Thoughts is taking 3,700 sq ft, and health food retailer Holland & Barratt 2,300 sq ft. Millies Cookies has also signed up to take a 260-sq ft unit.
Keith Stone, the Bristol Alliance's leasing director, said: "These latest signings to cutting edge street brands is clear proof of Bristol's growing importance as a major new location for retailers. We are already over the 90 per cent let by floorspace milestone, and anticipate that the scheme will be at least 95 per cent let by the time of its opening."
Cabot Circus will provide high quality retail and leisure uses, apartments, offices and public spaces totalling 1.5 million square feet in the heart of the city. Joint letting agents are DTZ and Lunson Mitchenall.
