Westfield and Commerz Real have signed two more brands for the premium ‘Village’ area of the million-sq ft Westfield London scheme. Tiffany and Mulberry have taken stores, joining Louis Vuitton in the centre’s luxury district.
Mulberry will occupy a 1,331-sq ft store and Tiffany 2,800 sq ft. Louis Vuitton has already signed up for 3,000 sq ft and Westfield is reportedly in talks with a number of other brands for the 50,000 sq ft of premium retail space. The Village will also feature another 50,000 sq ft dedicated to up-and-coming British designers and a 50,000 sq ft leisure and catering offer. The Village is designed to act as a point of difference, drawing shoppers from Westfield London’s core catchment, which includes affluent neighbourhoods like Holland Park and Kensington.
Michael Gutman, Westfield managing director UK and Europe, said: “We are pleased that successful global brands like Mulberry have endorsed our concept of a dedicated luxury precinct at Westfield London.” Westfield London will open on 30 October this year and all of the major anchor retailers are currently fitting out their stores.
