Promotion Space Group has confirmed its position as the UK's leading shopping centre commercialisation specialist by acquiring its main competitor, London-based Brandspace. Brandspace CEO Paul Soanes will join the Promotion Space board as group business development director.
The take-over means that the company now exclusively represents over 125 shopping centres across the UK and 2,000 retail outlets including Topman and Miss Selfridge with a strong pipeline of shopping centres set to join the portfolio over the next year.
Promotion Space chairman Richard Wright said: "The acquisition gives the shopping centre industry, which is currently facing a challenging retail climate, a tailor-made commercialisation solution to maximise asset value and increase revenue streams."
